Our client, an industry leader in financial technology and services, has an excellent opportunity for a Workday Extend Engineer to work on a 9+month contract opportunity. Work will be 100% remote on PST.The Workday Extend Engineer will lead development for a critical project involving Workday Extend HR. This role is essential for ensuring the successful launch of our HR app and will require strong technical skills, experience in app development, and the ability to consult on best practices.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $75 - $85 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
· Application Development: Build and deploy the Workday Extend HR application based on the requirements gathered by the team.
· Configuration Management: Leverage Workday configurations to ensure the successful integration and functionality of APIs.
· Project Launch: Work towards a successful launch of the application by late March or early April.
· Requirement Gathering: Post-launch, engage with stakeholders to gather additional requirements for new features and functionalities.
· App Development: Develop additional applications based on the requirements gathered, acting as the sole developer within this scope.
· Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to address questions, brainstorm ideas, and ensure alignment with project goals.
· Consulting: Provide insights and best practices regarding Workday Extend functionality to enhance team capabilities and project outcomes.
Experience Requirements:
· Proven experience building and deploying applications within Workday Extend.
· Strong understanding of Workday configurations and API integrations.
· Ability to gather and interpret business requirements effectively.
· Experience in consulting roles, providing best practices and recommendations for Workday functionality.
Education Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
· Familiarity with HR processes and workflows in the Workday environment.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
