Job Title: Sample Maker
Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Sample Maker to join our team in Cary, IL. As a manufacturer of electrical circuits for various industries, we need someone to perform basic assembly and inspections on our products, input information into our computer systems, and prepare samples for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly and inspections on company products.
• Input product information accurately into the company's computer systems.
• Use microscopes and other measuring devices to inspect products.
• Prepare and assemble product samples for client delivery.
• Ensure quality control and adhere to company standards during production.
• Manage inventory and participate in packing and color matching processes.
• Operate power tools and work effectively on the assembly line.

• Proficiency in inspection assembly and quality control.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Experience with production, sample preparation, and inventory management.

• 1-2 years of experience in a production environment preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with power tools and assembly line processes.
• Ability to pick up new tasks quickly and fit within company culture.

Work Environment

This position is available on the 1st shift with working hours from 7am to 3:30pm. You will be working in a very clean and well-kept workshop. The role involves sitting at a bench for about 75% of the day performing inspections and computer work. Our company is mid-sized, with about 75 employees.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cary, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
