MARKETING AUTOMATION QA SPECIALIST

Location: Mettawa, Illinois

Compensation Range: $40 - 44 per hour


Are you a Salesforce Marketing Cloud expert with an eagle eye for detail? A leader in the pharma space is seeking a Marketing Automation QA Specialist to join our Digital Lab. In this role, you will be the final line of defense, ensuring our high-complexity omnichannel 1:1 marketing programs are executed flawlessly. You will play an integral part in building world-class customer journeys by performing technical and functional QA on everything from creative builds and SQL queries to complex automation and journey logic.



Responsibilities:

• Perform rigorous QA checks and documentation on high-complexity omnichannel campaigns, ensuring all elements (creative, automations, queries, and journeys) function perfectly.
• Ensure high-quality, on-time, and error-free implementation within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
• Create and maintain standard quality control documents, ensuring strict adherence to department management policies.
• Identify gaps in QA processes and implement innovative improvements to raise the bar for accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in agile delivery activities and provide regular project updates and risk assessments to the Associate Director.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification is required.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 3-4 years of experience in Database Marketing, CRM, Email, or 1:1 marketing.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in either campaign build or technical QA.
• Proficiency in SQL, HTML/CSS, and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex logic and infer actionable learnings.
