Team Lead-Manufacturing (PPG#336226)

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Team Lead for 1st shift to oversee daily operations on the production floor. This role is critical in ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.

Location: Broadview, IL

Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire Position

Pay Range: $20.00-28.00/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: 1st Shift: Starting at 6:00 AM -2:30PM

*Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus*

What You'll Do:

• Ensuring the team adheres to production schedules and deadlines
• Monitoring tooling standards and quality control measures
• Training new team members and ensuring that all team members are competent in their roles
• Maintaining accurate records of tooling data, including volume produced, materialsused, and any deviations from standard processes
• Enforcing strict safety guidelines and company standards
• Coordinating with other department PRODUCTION LEADS to ensure equipment availability, raw material supply, and timely completion of production target
• Responsible for following Lean Manufacturing Concepts and safety policies

Additional Responsibilities:

• Inspect materials and equipment to ensure they are safe and in good working condition
• Provide real-time information and reports to management and accurately enter information in Plex (ERP system)
• Work with Production Manager to order necessary supplies

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership or team lead role in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency and ability to generate reports.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus!
• Ability to motivate teams and ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Forklift certification a plus.
