Part Time Front Desk Associate
Wattage is looking for a part-time Front Desk Associate to support our team by picking up shifts as needed. This role is ideal for a college student, graduate student, or someone with a flexible schedule who enjoys fitness, people, and a welcoming environment.
About the Role
This is not a traditional set-hours job. We’re looking for someone reliable and personable who can help cover:
- Afternoon, evening, and some morning coverage
- Occasional last-minute coverage
- Busy class times or special events
Shifts are typically 3–5 hours at a time. Sometimes more depending on other staff schedules.
What You’ll Do
- Be the first friendly face members see when they walk in
- Greet clients and process point of sale
- Occasionally help with scheduling and client communication (calls, texts, emails)
- Cleaning and laundry to help keep the gym running smoothly
- Support trainers and staff as needed
Who You Are
- Friendly, dependable, passionate about fitness and people-oriented
- Comfortable with basic tech (scheduling software, texting, email)
- Calm, proactive, and able to multitask
- Shifts will be planning in advance for the most part but it’s important you’re able to be “on-call” here and there for coverage.
