Job Details
- Location: Peoria, IL
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Shift Duration: 12 Hour Rotating
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1350 - $3180
- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000
- Completion and graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
- CST Certification preferred
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Surgical Technology (New graduates are welcome to apply)
- Scrub for procedures following established aseptic technique guidelines
- Assist surgeons intra-operatively with routine and complex surgical procedures
- Organize and prepare the operating room prior to surgery
- Anticipate and respond to surgeons' needs during surgery
- Receive and preserve surgical specimens, notifying the circulating nurse
- Serve as a clinical resource for department personnel and other patient caregivers
