The Position

Our Client is seeking to fill a Loan Administration Manager role in Waukegan, IL market. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing activities of loan production, loan servicing, and documentation. The candidate will ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to loan operations, procedures, and key controls.

The position includes a generous salary of up to $65K and excellent benefits package. (This is not a remote position.)

Loan Administration Manager responsibilities include:

• Managing and leading a team, project management, workflow, reviews, and resolving any disciplinary issues.
• Providing expertise and training on all loan servicing and documentation issues, including involved ownership structures, loan types, and securitization.
• Creating and overseeing the documentation process for commercial loans, including closing checklists, collateral valuation reviews, title policies, surveys, UCC searches, credit bureaus, and flood determination.
• Maintaining compliance with credit terms, loan/security agreements, and regulatory and internal guidelines (processes and procedures).
• Preparing annual reviews of the staff and conducting training as needed.
• Providing supporting checklists and ensures compliance with processes and procedures implemented by the organization.
• Providing leadership support and is actively involved in the development and implementation of Special Projects as delegated upper management.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting or related field.
• Five or more years of experience in Lending and management.
• Must have working knowledge of LaserPro and FiServ.
• Knowledge of accounting and loan systems.
• Above-average proficiency in loan documentation and servicing software systems, including experience with the implementation of new systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
