We seek self-motivated and reliable technicians for service and special installation projects, who can work independently and find solutions to complete the job. Long-term employment with competitive pay and exceptional benefits for qualified candidates. We value relationships and invest in our employees.

Key Responsibilities May Include:
  • Lead and support data and low-voltage cabling crews on large warehouse and distribution center projects (500k–2M+ sq ft)
  • Remain hands-on with Cat6 and fiber installations while overseeing quality and productivity
  • Install and oversee paging, wireless/AP cabling, CCTV, and access control cabling
  • Plan daily manpower, work sequencing, and production goals
  • Read prints, plan cable pathways, and manage MDF/IDF buildouts
  • Operate boom and scissor lifts (40–60 ft work)
  • Attend construction meetings and coordinate with other trades
  • Complete daily and weekly progress updates and project spreadsheets
  • Track, manage, and maintain project materials and onsite inventory
  • Communicate status, risks, labor needs, and material requirements to Project Managers
  • Enforce all safety, quality, and schedule requirements
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of low-voltage or data cabling experience
  • Prior Foreman or Lead Technician experience
  • Strong Cat6 and single-mode/multi-mode fiber termination and testing knowledge
  • Experience leading crews of 4–20 technicians
  • Experience with paging, wireless, CCTV, and access control cabling
  • Comfortable working at height and in large warehouse environments
  • Proficient with smartphones, email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong communication skills with Technicians and Project Managers
  • Basic telecommunications tools, PPE, and reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work 50–60 hour weeks
Why Wachter?
  • Full-time work
  • Competitive Compensation based on experience
  • Paid weekly
  • Per-Diem paid when overnight travel is required
  • Company vehicle provided, in some cases, after initial 2-4 weeks of employment
  • Drive time and mileage paid for use of personal vehicle when travel is required
  • Paid Vacation and Holidays
  • Opportunities for certification and career advancement
  • Supportive team environment
