Janitor (Shift: M-F 2PM to 7PM)

Lifelong Access is seeking a Janitor who will clean and maintain assigned facilities, location, and work sites within the standards agreed upon by Lifelong Access and its Janitorial Services’ customers.
Pay: $15.30/hourJob Type: Part-Time (25 Hrs a Wk/ M-F 2PM to 7PM) Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned facility, location or work site(s) within the standards as agreed to in the customer’s contract. A complete list of duties will be provided for each assigned work site.
- Clean and maintain floors by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and/or damp mopping.
- Properly collect and dispose of trash/litter.
- Properly clean glass (windows, doors, mirrors, etc.) as scheduled or assigned.
- Properly clean, disinfect and sanitize required areas (restrooms, break areas, etc.) as scheduled or assigned.
- Properly dust as scheduled or assigned.
- Maintain grounds according to customer contract or as specified by supervisor.
- Ensure that consumables (toilet paper, paper towels, trash liners, etc.) are in supply and properly stocked.
- Perform seasonal duties as scheduled or assigned (snow removal; apply ice melt, leaf raking, trim grass, etc.).
- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of Janitorial Services’ supplies and assets.
- Ensure that equipment used is properly maintained and in good working order.
- Use and follow proper security measures and safety procedures at all times including, but not limited to: following universal/standard precautions, using personal protective equipment, using caution signs, operating equipment safely, etc.
- Ability upon request, the ability to change work schedule and/or work schedule and/or work site in order to meet Janitorial Service’s contract obligations.
- Document service delivery for accurate billing per departmental standards.
- Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
- Employee may be asked to perform other duties as required by the employer’s business needs.
- Experience or training in the area of cleaning and/or janitorial services preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as a team member
- Ability to effectively convey ideas or issues with supervision and coworkers
Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions.
