Are you in?Primary Purpose:

Responsibility for assisting with the design, testing, implementation, documentation and on-going performance of daily operational processes and systems required for Retail Electric Suppliers (RESs), Customer Self Managers (CSMs), Metering Service Providers (MSPs) and General Account Agents (GAAs) to enroll retail customers in retail choice programs and tariffs. Management responsibility for the design, testing, implementation, documentation and on-going performance of daily operational processes and systems required for GAA processes, retail customer billing analyses and preparing and delivering historical retail customer usage data resulting from market participant data requests. Support other Analysts in Department with day-to-day responsibilities and other organizations with strategic initiatives such as the design and implementation of new legislative programs

 

Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies .

Primary Duties:

• Responsibility for assisting with the design, testing, implementation, documentation and on-going performance of daily operational processes and systems required for RESs, CSMs, MSPs and GAAs to enroll retail customers in retail choice programs and tariffs. Ongoing responsibility for performing daily processes. 
• Responsibility for assisting with the design, testing, implementation, documentation and on-going performance of daily operational processes and systems associated with GAA activities including addressing GAA inquiries. Ongoing responsibility for performing daily processes. 
• Ongoing responsibility for performing retail customer billing analyses resulting from market participant inquiries. 
• Responsibility for assisting with the design, testing, implementation, documentation and on-going performance of daily operational processes and systems associated with preparing and delivering historical retail customer usage data resulting from market participant data requests and billing market participants for those services. Ongoing responsibility for performing daily processes

Job Scope:

The energy, capacity, transmission service and ancillary services purchased and delivered by RESs exceeds $2.5 billion annually. Retail market design issues affect the entire business model. Daily processes affect retail customer billing, short-and long-term load and financial forecasts and after-the-fact reporting and settlement throughout the Company. Electric Supplier Services continually works with senior members of Energy Acquisition, Regulatory & External Affairs, Customer Operations and Load Forecasting in performing daily responsibilities and supporting strategic initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4-year degree in business or technical field and 0-2 years of experience; or in lieu of a BS degree, 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of mainframe systems (Customer Information Systems) and PJM internet-based system.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop/prepare and produce accurate reports by extracting data from computer files or databases.
• Ability to work in a self-managed, dynamic, sometimes ambiguous work environment.
• High level of ethics and professionalism.
• Demonstrated skills in data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Data analytical skills

• Electric utility experience
• Familiarity with wholesale electricity marketplace and PJM business rules

• Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $60,800.00/Yr. – $83,600.00/Yr.
