Social & Influencer Coordinator

All American Sports Corporation
Des Plaines, IL

Job Description

Job Description

Riddell is seeking a Coordinator, Social & Influencer Marketing to join our Marketing Communications (MarCom) team. This small but dynamic in-house group supports a variety of stakeholders — from Executives and Sales to Product Development, Apparel, and Consumer Products — as well as external partners.

This Social & Influencer Marketer will lead the brand’s social media presence and influencer activation strategy, driving day-to-day execution while helping to shape how Riddell appears in the broader football conversation through athlete interaction, creator collaboration, cultural storytelling, and real-time content. A strong understanding of how to build brand relevance in today’s social landscape — balancing strategy, creativity, community engagement, and analytics with a strong instinct for football culture is required.

The right candidate is creative, organized, collaborative, self-motivated, and passionate about sports – especially football.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned)

  • Lead brand’s social media day-to-day programming across @RiddellSports & @RiddellNextGen channels, including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and other emerging platforms
  • Collaborate with MarCom leadership to develop, refine, and execute Riddell's social media strategy, ensuring alignment with brand objectives, business priorities, audience insights, and emerging opportunities across the football landscape
  • Develop and manage an integrated social content calendar aligned to key business initiatives, product launches, campaigns, partnerships, events, athlete storytelling, and timely moments in football
  • Create and execute culturally relevant content strategies that position Riddell at the center of the football conversation across professional, collegiate, high school, and youth levels
  • Lead influencer and creator marketing activations in partnership with Riddell's agency of record, including campaign development, talent identification, briefing, approvals, execution, and reporting
  • Manage relationships with influencers and creators to support brand initiatives and expand Riddell's reach within the football community
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Consumer Products, Digital, Flag, InSite Analytics, Operations, Research & Product Development, and Sales to identify and execute compelling storytelling opportunities
  • Develop social-first content concepts and go-live plans that align with key business priorities
  • Lead social media copywriting efforts across all channels, ensuring content aligns with Riddell's brand voice and communication standards
  • Lead community management, engagement, and listening efforts by monitoring conversations, identifying opportunities for participation, and escalating issues when necessary
  • Support content capture and live social coverage at partnership activations, camps, and industry events
  • Monitor emerging social trends, platform innovations, creators, and cultural moments to identify opportunities for audience growth and engagement
  • Develop and deliver monthly social media performance reports and campaign recaps, providing actionable recommendations based on data and insights
  • Assist with budget tracking, influencer fulfillment, content approvals, and campaign administration as needed
  • Understand football culture and participate in the community year-round
  • Maintain current knowledge of social media best practices, creator marketing trends, platform updates, and industry developments
  • Uphold Riddell brand guidelines while keeping content and messaging innovative, authentic, and relevant to target audiences
  • Support broader MarCom initiatives, including events, partnership activations, content productions, product launches, and other marketing programs
  • Collaborate internally to plan, manage, and execute annual content photo and video shoots, including travel to on-site locations
