PLC and Instrumentation Maintenance Technologist

You Will
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical infrastructure, PLCs, control panels, relays, breakers, communication links, and alarm circuits.
- Independently install and commission new electrical and control equipment.
- Diagnose issues, change out failed parts, and execute advanced wiring and terminations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot VFDs, 3‑phase motors, and process sensors for temperature, pressure, and level.
- Provide on-the-floor support and knowledge transfer to junior maintenance colleagues.
- Uphold safety and sanitation expectations of a food-grade, unionized operation.
Must-Haves
- High School Diploma or GED, plus formal apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
- Strong electrical skills with demonstrated PLC troubleshooting.
- Ability to wire/test 3‑phase motors and calibrate industrial instrumentation.
Nice-to-Haves
- PLC programming in Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or similar.
- Control panel installation and diagnostics.
- Background with sanitary or hazardous process instrumentation in food or consumer goods environments.
