Okta’s Technology, Data, & Intelligence organization is on a mission to simplify and secure internal operations through automation, analysis, and scale. Our Productivity Engineering team is responsible for developing internal tooling, infrastructure and services that empower Okta employees to work as effectively as possible.

We work across engineering, data science, security, and internal business teams to deliver automation-powered services that integrate across a wide array of SAAS apps and internally developed infrastructure to Okta. A growing focus for our team has been an investment of cycles into AI agentic platforms, workflow orchestration, and data analytic dashboarding. We’re looking for engineers who enjoy solving tough problems and building with purpose.

  • Hire, develop, mentor, and retain extraordinary talent for the distributed team of Productivity Engineers.
  • Manage service and business expectations and prioritize resource allocation.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of all BT Engineering applications and systems.
  • Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders on a regular basis.

  • 12+ years of experience in Information Technology.
  • 8+ years of experience in technical leadership.
  • 7+ years of experience in people management.
  • Proven experience leading the deployment and operation of AI-driven solutions or machine learning models to solve enterprise challenges.
  • Experience navigating security and compliance certification audits (e.g., FedRAMP, CIS, SOX, SOC2, PCI).
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of collaboration, messaging, and endpoint applications.
  • Experience working on Identity and Access Management software and concepts.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • B.S. or relevant work experience.
