Job Description:

We are looking for a bilingual (Spanish-English) Developer to join our Technical Department in Melrose Park, IL. This person will be responsible for updating and maintaining the software used for racking projects, ensuring it complies with U.S. codes and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain engineering software used for racking projects.
• Implement updates according to U.S. standards and codes.
• Communicate regularly with the headquarters in Spain to align software development with project requirements.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot software issues.
• Document changes and maintain version control of the software.
• Train engineering staff on new features and software updates.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or another STEM major. Master's Degree in Engineering/STEM preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, and other programming languages; not required to master all software.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
• Compromise and interest to evolve within our company.
• Versatility - we are not necessarily seeking someone who knows a lot about a specific topic but someone who can adapt to fix any technical problem.
• Availability to work full-time at the Melrose Park, IL office. No hybrid and no telework.
