Oncology Veterinary Technician

VCA Arboretum View Animal Hospital is actively seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Medical Oncology team!

Responsibilities of Our Medical Oncology Technicians:

• Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of oncology cases.
• Administer chemotherapy treatments with precision and care.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Provide education and support to pet owners throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Educate pet owners on post-treatment care and follow-up appointments.
• Conduct laboratory tests.
• Diagnostic imaging.
• Venipuncture and place IVC.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist in recovery procedures

Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 7am - 5 pm, weekdays.

Compensation:

Starting range is $ 22 - 32/hr and determined by license, skill set, and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.
