The Role: Director of Revenue Generation - Sable at Navy Pier Chicago
About Us: Sable at Navy Pier is a premier destination offering luxurious accommodations, dining, and experiences in the heart of Chicago. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Revenue Generation to join our team and drive our revenue growth initiatives with a maverick approach to revenue generation and innovation.
The Director of Revenue Generation will be responsible for developing and executing groundbreaking revenue generation strategies to maximize profitability. This role requires a visionary leader who can think outside the box and challenge conventional methods. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth in the hospitality industry through innovative and bold strategies and possess exceptional skills in managing owner relations. Experience with Hilton brand and downtown Chicago markets is essential.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and implement cutting-edge revenue generation plans to achieve and exceed financial targets.
- Innovate and experiment with new revenue models, staying ahead of industry trends and market shifts.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with property owners, ensuring their satisfaction and confidence in the innovative revenue strategies.
- Provide regular updates and reports highlighting performance, market trends, and growth opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify unique opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and execute unconventional campaigns that drive occupancy and revenue.
- Optimize pricing strategies and inventory management through creative and data-driven approaches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners and clients.
- Monitor and report on revenue performance, providing insights and bold recommendations for improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing revenue management team that embraces innovation.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue management, sales, or marketing within the hospitality industry.
- Experience with Hilton brand and downtown Chicago markets is essential.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth through innovative strategies.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a flair for creativity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on owner relations.
- Proficiency in revenue management systems and tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and embrace change.
