Student Involvement Program Coordinator

The Student Involvement Program Coordinator manages the annual registration and classification processes of student organizations, coordinates and implements student organization advisor training, and administers support services and organization development trainings/programs for student organization leadership. The Coordinator coordinates the involvement fairs and student/leader organization recognition and manages the Student Involvement Center including resources, staffing, utilization, and outreach programs. Other duties include assessing policies and procedures related to registered student organizations and assisting with the planning and implementation of Festival ISU and Winter Fest. The Coordinator will demonstrate an openness to connect with students and campus/community partners to support a diverse, equitable, and inclusive student engagement opportunities.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor's or equivalent degree conferred prior to position start date
- One year of experience serving as a leader in a college/university student organization.
* Note: Master's degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for work experience. Master’s degree must be conferred prior to start date.
- Master's degree in higher education administration, college student personnel administration, counseling, or a related field
- Experience advising student organizations and event planning for college students
- Experience working with a diverse student population.
Core Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday, with frequent evenings and weekends
Functional ExpectationsMust be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
- Remain at a workstation for extended periods.
- Move about in various locations across campus as needed to complete day-to-day work.
