MEP Licensed Mechanical Engineer working in a consulting firm on MEP for commercial, healthcare, retail, corporate office, schools, and critical projects. The Licensed Mechanical Engineer must have a background in:

• HVAC

• Controls

• Plumbing

• Fire Protection

• Specification Writing

Mechanical Engineer Job Responsibilities

As a Project Licensed Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing specific systems: layout (utilizing CAD); calculations (utilizing appropriate software); and other related design services including coordination with the (architectural and engineering / internal and external) technical staff. The Licensed Mechanical Engineer must take ownership of completeness, accuracy and timeliness of work assigned, and achieve set project deadlines. As a Licensed Mechanical Engineer, you must also have experience in Trane Software.

Education, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Professional Engineer’s License or EIT

• Extensive knowledge in current building codes and basic industry standards relating to MEP

• Experience in Trane Software and AutoCAD Software
