Soccer House is a purpose-built clubhouse for the game, designed to give fans the best way to watch, follow, and celebrate the game. From early-morning kickoffs to late winners, clásicos to cup finals, midweek fixtures, red cards, and cold rainy nights in Stoke, this is a place made to live with the full rhythm of the sport.

Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for delivering fast, precise, and welcoming Bar service during all day and nighttime hours. This role requires attention to detail, strong hospitality instincts, and the ability to work efficiently during peak service periods while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.

Bartender Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the General Manager
• Attend pre-shift to review menu and daily specials
• Serve drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation
• Prepare and maintain beverage ingredients by following recipes
• Create genuine connections with guests, making them feel comfortable and valued throughout their experience
• Anticipate guests' beverage needs and provide a proactive experience
• Responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures in a timely manner
• Adhere to proper alcohol handling, sanitation and safety procedures and maintain appropriate dating, labeling and rotation of all beverage items 
• Communicate cordially, effectively and clearly with all employees, managers and guests

Qualifications :

• 3+ years of experience as a bartender in a full-service restaurant or Bar
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktail builds, and ability to learn recipes accurately and efficiently.
• Current ServSafe and Basset certifications.
• Strong working knowledge of food, beverage, and bar service.
• Calm, clear, and professional communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
• Composed and focused under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate a physically active service environment.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights & weekends.

Job Type : Part-time / Full-time

Compensation: $12.62 / hr + tips
