This role is located at our beautiful headquarters on River Drive in Moline, IL. This facility includes a comfortable office environment with an on-site gym facility.

Summary of Position:

As a Research and Operations Support Specialist , you will be responsible for verifying, indexing, and scanning key documents and fulfilling research requests submitted by members and team members. You'll serve as a critical support resource, ensuring the integrity of member data and timely responses to inquiries across various communication channels. This role requires strong attention to detail, a high level of confidentiality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. From document verification and check processing to addressing wire requests and account research, your contributions will directly impact both member experience and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate should have following skills/qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Comfort working in a structured, process-oriented environment
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple research tasks efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify documents for scanning, ensuring accurate indexing and file integrity
• Scan and manage a variety of documents, including loan notes and miscellaneous forms
• Review and complete electronic tasks in Service Desk Plus (SDP), ensuring functionality and accuracy
• Research and respond to member and internal requests related to accounts, statements, tax forms, subpoenas, and more
• Manage fax requests and deposit verifications in a timely manner
• Process and balance in-house checks; handle shredding of physical checks on a monthly basis
• Complete Chargeback Check processes and Asset Verification requests
• Maintain returned mail processes and update account statuses for bad addresses
• Review and approve wire transactions within Wire Exchange

Physical Requirements
