Pay: $35–$40 per class

No lesson planning. No designing sequences on the fly. No managing 15 people at once. Just you, five clients, a fully built curriculum, and a digital system that handles the structure so you can focus entirely on what you do best — cueing and coaching.

About Evolve

Evolve Yoga & Fitness is a boutique studio on Chicago's Northwest Side with a loyal eight-year membership community. We are launching a structured Reformer Pilates program this summer built around classic principles, small group intimacy, and measurable week-over-week progression.

Your Schedule

• Tuesday 7:30pm — Reformer Intro (30 min)
• Thursday 7:30pm — Reformer Level 1 (45 min)
• Maximum 5 clients per class — never more
• Target start — Fall 2026
• Shadow and co-teaching available Summer 2026

Why This Role Is Different

Most Reformer roles ask you to design the class, manage large groups, and figure it out as you go. This one is different.

The curriculum is already built. Every exercise is sequenced, timed, and displayed on screen during class — exercise name, duration, and what's coming next. Clients always know what to do. You walk in, follow the program, and spend your entire class giving individual attention and corrections rather than managing logistics.

Five clients means you actually see everyone. You learn their bodies, their strengths, their limitations. The small size is the product — and it makes your job genuinely enjoyable rather than overwhelming.

The Program

Level 1 runs three 15-minute sections — Upper Body, Core, Lower Body. Four to five exercises per section. Same spring setting throughout — no reconfiguration mid-class. Classic methodology, intentional pace, progressive resistance week over week. Clients come back because they feel and see results.

Onboarding

• Weeks 1-4 — shadow the studio director, learn the system
• Weeks 5-6 — co-teach with director present
• Week 7 onward — the class is yours
• Monthly audits to support your growth

6-Week Trial Period

Start at $35–$40 based on experience. Strong performers move to $45 per class after the trial. At five clients that is $225 per 45-minute session. We move fast in both directions.

What We Are Looking For

• Reformer Pilates certification required — STOTT, BASI, Peak Pilates, Body Arts & Science or equivalent
• Group or small group reformer experience preferred
• Calm, encouraging, precise teaching style
• Coachable — you learn and follow a built system before adding your own touches
• Genuine warmth — five people in a room notice everything
• Audition required — you will teach a portion of the Evolve sequence back to our director

Growth Opportunity

Evolve Recovery — our post-rehab fitness studio — launches July 2026. Reformer Pilates is central to the recovery program. The right instructor has a direct path into that expanded role.
