The Associate Buyer will be:
Responsible for the management of raw material supply to the plant. Responsible for managing raw material flow valued in excess of $250 million annually to maintain inventories for meeting plant production schedules. Plan, coordinate and expedite all raw materials into the plant, including placing and releasing orders to the SAP system.
Oversee assigned raw materials for Mt. Vernon plant.
Manage SAP Procurement system based on production needs and SAP for Mt. Vernon.
Ensure and maintain effective communications with vendors according to raw materials.
Responsible for raw material transfers between plants.
Maintain effective communications throughout the plant, to include operations, mixing and production to adequately inform them of emergencies.
Manage issuing Purchase Orders to vendors.
Manage RMDP according to assigned Raw Materials
Perform duties of co-workers when on vacation or absent.
Perform other duties as directed by Purchasing, Operations Manager, or Lead Buyer/Senior Buyer.
Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or -High School Diploma/GED with 3 years or more experience if no relevant Bachelors degree.
One year of relevant work experience.

The starting annual salary for this role is $58,660 a year.
Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
