A fast-paced hospital inpatient role is available for a licensed pharmacist with recent inpatient pharmacy experience. This contract position is based near Chicago in Oak Park, IL, offering opportunities to utilize your skills in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Location:

• Oak Park, Illinois (West of downtown Chicago)

Schedule/Hours:

• Days: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Rotating weekends
• Contract duration: 13 weeks starting June 1

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties including medication verification and checking
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Verify and check intravenous (IV) preparations according to hospital protocols
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and orders

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Active Illinois pharmacist license
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system preferred
• Ability to supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians effectively
