Maintenance Coordinator
- Direct the activities of the maintenance department to insure that all plant equipment is maintained and repaired with minimum downtime.
- Coordinate priority maintenance scheduling with production requirements in conjunction with production department managers and production scheduling department.
- Enforce all safety procedures / policies and conduct weekly safety meetings
- Perform special projects as required.
- Ensure compliance with all established work practices.
- Keep necessary records and reports.
- Must be able to create purchase orders correctly and in a timely manner.
- Attend and participate in all required staff functions including but not limited to Safety Committee Meetings, “5 minute Meetings”, & leadership development meetings.
- Meets service levels consistently; preferable to exceed expectations.
- Communicates timely and to the appropriate personnel with regards to any information about meeting work assignments as directed or as inferred to be successful.
- Uses materials, tools, and resources safely, appropriately and with value considerations, and conducts work activities in a safe manner with forethought to best actions rooted in safety for oneself and others.
- Enact one efficiency improvement.
- Mentor and provide guidance to new members of the maintenance department.

- 3 – 5 yrs. prior Maintenance Experience
- Liquid filling Machine experience strongly preferred
- Strong Microsoft Word & Excel Skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful.
- Must be able to regularly lift 55 lbs.
- Must be able to stand / walk for an entire eight hour shift. Occasional bending, crouching, and crawling
- Must be able to hear and understand work direction in a loud, distracting environment
- Must be able to judge distance, identify details, and view computer screen regularly
