Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based position is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an elementary setting located in Elgin, Illinois. This contract role supports students by implementing behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Behavior Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one behavior interventions to elementary students.
• Collect and record data on student progress and behaviors.
• Collaborate with educators and behavior specialists to support individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Follow ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with supervisors.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
• Experience working within school settings preferred.
• Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.

Position Details:

• Duration: Contract for the current school year through June 12, 2026.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week.
• Hours: 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
• Caseload: Approximately one to one support in an elementary school setting.
• Location: Elgin, Illinois.

This position requires candidates to have an active RBT certification on file. Candidates interested only in substitute work should specify this preference.
