The CAMA Operator set-up, operate, troubleshoot, repair and perform general maintenance on CAMA, ProPrint equipment and tape machine.

Schedule: Monday to Saturday : 5:45am to 4:00 pm

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for proper machine set-up: CAMA, ProPrint and tape machine, general machine operation, and changeovers.
• Verify proper boxes to use and how to select settings for products.
• Assist Maintenance Department in performing PM's on CAMA, ProPrint or related equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure the products meet both food safety requirements and customer specifications.
• Communicate quality issues of dry goods materials or finished goods to appropriate personnel.
• Responsible for the completion of all paperwork including, but not limited to, inspection sheets and set-up checklists.
• Follow and complete the daily product schedule, including changes that may occur during the course of the day.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift 30lbs.
• Stand for the duration of the shift (8 hours or more).
• Bend continuously throughout the shift.
• Able to work in a noisy, wet, and cold environment of approximately 36 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Perform repetitive motions for the duration of the shift.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Able to reach with hands and arms to adjust equipment settings.
• Flexible work schedule to include 6 day works weeks and/or weekends.

Qualifications:

• Bi-lingual English/Spanish.
• Working knowledge of CAMA and ProPrint equipment
• HS Diploma, GED, or Technical School.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience meeting or exceeding high production expectations.
• Past experience working in a cold environment 34 degrees
• Self-motivated individual who requires minimal supervision and direction.

Experience:

One year machine-operator in manufacturing experience preferred
