Job Title: Clamp Truck Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate a clamp truck/forklift to move rolls from various areas, including trucks and warehouses, to the corrugator for consumption.
• Recognize, correct, or report any safety, quality, or production issues using the provided tools.
• Work hands-on with limited supervision, following instructions to meet shipment deadlines and conduct unloading within guidelines.
• Follow all safety procedures and intervene when observing unsafe practices.
• Ensure high levels of quality, productivity, and attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with operators, superintendents, the shipping department, and customer service to ensure loads are accurate and damage-free.
• Offload incoming loads timely and place them in the correct location.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
