Yorkville Animal Hospital sits along the Fox River about an hour from Chicago, and it’s the kind of place where both are genuinely possible. As a high-volume small animal practice with five doctors, scheduled appointments, and walk-in visits, no two days look alike.
The Opportunity:
- A busy, varied caseload with the support staff and thoughtful scheduling to back it up, including at least two full weekends off every month
- Full medical autonomy and a consistently strong surgical schedule
- Consistent collaboration and a collective interest in mentoring externs and early career veterinarians
The Resources:
- Large and modern facility with full in-house diagnostics, including dental and digital x-rays, ultrasound, and lab
- Surgical and therapeutic laser
- 1:1.5 doctor-to-tech ratio
- Active externship site for multiple veterinary programs, with a pathway to join our preceptor team

ProSal Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting salary of $125,000–$150,000 plus production bonuses
- 401(k) with company match
- Access to CE courses (dentistry, ultrasound, surgery, and more) at NVA’s nearby PetOne Training Center in Addison, IL
- Professional liability coverage, DEA and state licensing, and VIN membership
