Field IT Technician Supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair work conducted by technicians.
- Manage team of technicians in a supervisory capacity and travel to the field to oversee workers and conduct inspections on completed work orders.
- Perform installations or/and provide a tech support yourself, directly to the customers, if needed.
- Evaluate completed work orders to ensure that all policies and standards have been followed and that the customer’s needs are met.
- Maintain CRM daily on matter of creating incoming work orders, assigning them and monitor status of completion.
- Schedule b2b appointments for software or hardware placement or updates, meeting existing customers and partners at their or potential locations.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft Windows / UNIX hardware and software problems.
- Install and configure new PC hardware and software on desktops, ATM, amusements devices, laptops and peripherals such as phones, printers, external drives and other related hardware.
- Develop, prepare, tests and deploy hard drive images and be capable of supporting users in a virtual desktop environment.
- Perform regular inspections of tools, vehicles, and equipment used by the company.
- Maintain warehouse inventory to be sure none of the units goes lower on a stock then minimum required amount.
- Receive and test new hardware and software.
- Train new technicians and provide ongoing training for experienced technicians.
- Design and implement training programs and protocols for technicians to follow.
- Interface with union leadership to maintain proactive communication and healthy relationships
- Make management reports daily/weekly/monthly
- Maintain a high level of proficiency in using help-desk systems and tools
- Deliver device, instruct and visit clients - BE ON CALL
- Have experience working on active directory

- Has proven experience as supervisor or relevant role
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Has outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Has extensive repair/fix hardware hands on experience
- Experienced with software installations
- Must own a car and have a valid Driver’s License.
- Did Field work in a past assisting small local businesses
- Is able to move around some heavy machines/kiosks/devices if needed
- Is comfortable with being on route 90% of the time
