Job Title: SAP Inventory Coordinator Position
Job Rate: $29.71
Normal Hours: 07:00-1530 Sunday – Thursday with overtime assigned as directed/needed. Hours & scheduled days are subject to change based on business needs.
Selection Process: This position will be awarded to the best-matched candidate with the skill and ability to meet the job requirements as determined by an interview process and an assessment process. The interview and assessment process will address the characteristics, attributes, and skills necessary to successfully perform the job. Plant service may be the determining factor if skills and abilities are determined to be equal. Internal & external candidates will be reviewed simultaneously.

Job duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Primary Function :
The purpose of the SAP Inventory Coordinator position is to ensure SAP inventory accurately reflects the physical inventory. The SAP Inventory Coordinator verifies the physical inventory against SAP inventory and adjusts SAP accordingly to resolve inventory discrepancies that develop from back flushing materials, and any error resolution that impacts inventory.
Day-to-Day responsibilities will include the following :
At the start of the day, check email and voicemail to see if there is any pertinent information you need or tasks that need completion that day.
This may be counts for the Planners, Quality or Production
Get current schedules and bill of materials – need the most updated so that the correct materials can be inventoried
Collaborate with TDC to ensure system integrity
In partnership with the plant TDC, inspect the can’t backstage area and take necessary action to resolve issues timely
Reasons for Adjusting
After run – Look at the schedules for any SKUs that ran yesterday but are not running today
If there are any, count the materials that were used in the SKU
Inventory of the warehouse must be accurate before the consumption location is counted
Count the physical inventory and document for entry into SAP.
End of Week – Count and adjust commonly used materials at end of week during quite time.
Transitions – Count and adjust materials that have transitioned
When a material transition has happened, we need to adjust the old and new inventory, no matter how planners set up the change in SAP
Whatever you write off the old material, you write on to the new material and then any scrap loss or gain
Month – End/Year – End – Count and adjust materials for financial month end or year end
Holds –Support materials management, operations and quality group to capture hold materials on block status.
Other Duties to Perform
Count and order select indirect materials
Take a weekly physical count of materials in list below, and order via Ariba based on replenishment plan
Large SAP bar code labels
Glue to support operations
Misc. support – provide support to TDC, IM/WM, quality, and finance as it relates to data integrity in SAP.
Productivity Responsibility:
Actively participate in team goal setting/implementation to ensure that we are the low-cost, high-quality producers.
Strive to maximize the efficiency of the plant/department by submitting & implementing process improvements.
Quality Responsibility:
Ensure the quality of our products and our workplace by following all procedures and guidelines.
Comply with all established GMP's, HACCP guidelines, housekeeping responsibilities and KHMS operating procedures.
Assist in the compliance of the KHMS program and training of new associates.
Safety Responsibility:
Required to perform all duties safely & use discretion to prevent injuries to self and/or others.
Qualifications :
Strong computer skills and an advanced working knowledge of SAP and various SAP screens.
Proven record demonstrating ability to effectively solve problems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good organizational skills
Ability to maintain detailed records.
Ability to accurately perform all tasks.
Self-management and ability to work well within a team environment is expected.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite of software, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of other Kraft supported software and windows-based programs expected.
Work a schedule consistent with business needs with flexibility to work overtime as necessary. Primarily expected to work during the day shifts to include Saturdays and/or Sundays. Must be flexible with breaks and lunches (no set times)
Proficient in mathematics
Travel if required
