Clinical Nurse Manager-Cardiac/Stroke/Tele
Hourly Pay Range:
$48.93 - $75.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:
- Position: Clinical Nurse Manager, Cardiac/Stroke/Tele
- Location: Evanston Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
- Hours: Days with rotating hours
- Required Travel: Ability to travel to other sites as needed
What you will need:
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
- Education: Bachelor?s degree in Nursing required. Master?s degree in Nursing, Business or a Healthcare related discipline preferred.
- Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years? experience in relevant clinical setting required. Previous management experience preferred with demonstrated progressive clinical leadership.
- Skills: Acute care inpatient Cardiac/Stroke experience preferred. Ability to manage relationships, patient outcomes, communication, and conflict effectively.
What you will do:
- Hold 24/7 accountability and responsibility for the professional nursing practice, professional development, performance improvement initiatives, daily operations, and fiscal management for the assigned clinical unit.
- Adhere to all regulatory compliance bodies.
- Create a departmental environment that is therapeutic which promotes engagement with our nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
- Establishes constructive partnerships with peers to promote loyalty for patients, families, nursing, physicians, and employees.
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
- Leads unit and department quality initiatives using research and evidence-based practice.
- Promotes the development of critical thinking skills of all unit personnel through appreciate inquiry.
- Creates and maintains a supportive, resilient, and healthy work environment.
- Advances practice through the development of innovations and change principles.
