Location: Mundelein, IL
Compensation: $25 – $40 per hour

Imagine This Scenario

A packaging conveyor faults mid-run, a cooker’s temperature control drifts, and the chiller loop demands attention—all before lunch. You prioritize, isolate faults, and move from mechanical adjustments to electrical testing, then into pneumatic and hydraulic checks. When the data points to a controls issue, you step into an Allen‑Bradley program, confirm I/O health, and return the line to spec. By day’s end, you’ve also supported a new project installation, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

What You’ll Do

• Execute preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on food processing, thermal equipment (ovens, cookers), chilling, and packaging machinery.
• Troubleshoot across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems under time-sensitive conditions.
• Work with PLC-driven equipment; Allen‑Bradley familiarity is a strong advantage.
• Service industrial refrigeration components and related plant infrastructure.
• Collaborate with a seasoned maintenance team and support personnel to meet production goals.
• Follow GMP and SQF/HACCP standards and all safety practices in a wash-down environment.

What You Bring

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Hands-on capability in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair.
• Independent, mid-to-senior level technician able to learn site-specific processes and contribute immediately.
