About the Role

Chicago Marriot Northwest is looking for a Housekeeping Houseman. The role of the Housekeeping Supervisor is to successfully oversee the entire housekeeping operation and team on a daily basis, looking after all public areas and to provide the highest level of care and service to all residents, internal employees / clients and directors in line with the agreed service level and procedures. First and foremost is to always be motivated, highly engaged to provide personalized “world class” customer care and service to all residents, internal employees / clients and directors in line with the agreed service standards and procedures. Ensuring every resident request is completed promptly and decisively, aspiring to make the impossible, possible!

Housekeeping Houseman Responsibilities:

• Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and stocking restrooms.
• Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Notifying managers of necessary repairs.
• Collecting and disposing of trash.
• Assisting guests when necessary.
• Keeping the linen room stocked.
• Properly cleaning upholstered furniture.

Housekeeping Houseman Requirements:

• At least 1 year of Houseman experience
• Quality time management
• Self starter and able to work independently
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests.

Housekeeping Houseman Education:

• High school graduation or equivalent
• Basic maintenance knowledge
• Basic cleaning knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
