Business Systems Analyst (Downers Grove)
IT Business Systems Analyst
We’re hiring a Mid-Level Business Systems Analyst to support a leading utilities organization. This role will focus on data analysis, reporting, and supporting operational systems tied to field service and customer operations.
Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL (5 days onsite)
Duration: 12-month contract (strong potential for extension)
Pay: $50–$60/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and system requirements
- Analyze existing processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Develop reports and dashboards to support business operations
- Work with stakeholders across operations and IT teams
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and system enhancements
- Assist with data analysis and reporting tied to service orders and field activity
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of Business Systems Analyst experience
- Strong SQL querying skills
- Experience with Power BI (report/dashboard development)
- Experience pulling and analyzing data from databases
- Exposure to Oracle CC&B (Customer Information/Billing systems) preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Microsoft certifications are a plus
