Executive Communications Specialist (Contract)

Location: Hybrid – 2–3 days Downtown Chicago (Loop)

Duration: 12-month contract, 40 hours/week (W2, paid weekly)

Writing Samples required

Financial services industry experience strongly preferred

No direct reports this is an individual contributor role

Desired Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in internal communications and/or corporate communications (preferred) - Newsletters, executive speeches, interna/external presentations, emails, ghost writing for executive leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong executive writing and presentation development skills.
• Previous experience working with C-Suite level
• Proven ability to synthesize notes and strategic input into polished communications.
• Experience in communications strategy (not technical writing).
• Experience with digital storytelling and internal communications in a corporate environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
