Senior Power Platform Developer

The Sr Power Platform Developer will design, develop, deploy and manage solutions within the Power Platform suite of tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse. These solutions can be standalone or integrated with our enterprise applications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, CRM and PDM applications.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design solutions across Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) F&O, CRM and PDM applications that are aligned with business processes and drive efficiencies and improvements in the operations.
• Define scalable, secure and extensible architecture.
• Build solutions using Power Pages or Canvas Apps according to business needs.
• Build solutions economically on Azure and Dataverse storage platforms
• Build supporting data models using the appropriate structure – star, snowflake, etc.
• Architect, design and build API-based integrations using Azure Data Synapse or other standard ETL tools
• Determine the appropriate rate of data integration – real-time, event driven, time-phased
• Work closely with other developers and analysts within the IT team and across the functional business teams to ensure solution meets the expectations of the business
• Leverage Agile principles with iterative product releases and grooming of product backlog
• Balance the priority, cost and level of detail in solutions to meet business demands
• Build with iterative development and ongoing business changes in mind
• Architect and build code migration pipeline between environments.
• Incorporate security roles as needed within solutions
• Utilize Power BI Copilot and other AI tools to streamline and enhance development processes and also to create powerful automations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and iterate on solutions using stakeholder feedback.
• Excellent SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
• Understanding of data security and governance principles.
• Ensure compliance with organizational data governance standards and policies.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience working as a Power Platform Developer
• Minimum of 7 years working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O data model.
• Data Modeling: Star/Snowflake schemas, normalized structures
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with data integration tools and processes.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake) is a plus.
