Territory Sales Manager – Fitness Equipment
Location: Chicago, IL (Field-based, 100-mile territory)
Compensation: $85,000 base salary + uncapped commission (OTE $170,000+)
Work Arrangement: Field-based, with flexibility to work from home when not traveling
Our client, an international leader in premium fitness and wellness solutions, is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to cover the greater Chicago area. This high-impact, field-based role blends new business development and account management , offering the opportunity to sell cutting-edge products and services to organizations passionate about health and performance.
As part of a collaborative sales team, you’ll build strong relationships, deliver consultative solutions, and play a key role in expanding market share in one of the country’s most dynamic territories. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow business opportunities within a 100-mile radius of Chicago.
- Prospect, generate leads, and conduct high-level consultative presentations to C-suite, ownership groups, and decision-makers.
- Manage the full sales cycle , from initial outreach to closing and post-sale account management.
- Achieve and exceed assigned revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Leverage CRM systems to track activities, forecast accurately, and manage pipeline health.
- Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to guide product and solution strategy.
- Minimum 3 years of success in territory-based B2B field sales .
- Demonstrated experience with solution selling and managing complex deals.
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills; confident working with senior executives.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, or related field preferred.
- Passion for fitness, wellness, or sports a strong plus.
- Competitive base salary with uncapped OTE earning potential ($170k+) .
