Chicago Cashier Lead

Your Role:

Lead by example and motivate others to deliver an extraordinary customer checkout experience. Leverage your love of fashion and product knowledge to provide information about the items at check out and swiftly close the transaction. Focus on customer satisfaction and repeat business by engaging with the customer. You are the pricing and transaction expert. The ideal candidate is meticulous with money and passionate about training others.

Expectations:

• Demonstrate dedication and professionalism while engaging with clients
• A natural problem-solver, who is also creative and optimistic
• Maintenance of cash wrap, to enhance accurate and effective performance
• Supervise cashiers on all of the below
• End of shift cash register reconciliation
• Greet and communicate with all customers
• Confidently and enthusiastically process customer transactions through Teamwork POS System
• Ensure all items ready for purchase are identified and properly scanned
• Inform each customer of current promotions, brands and future sale events
• Engage with the customer and provide them with an exceptional customer experience
• Communicate with customers of current promotions, brand information, and future Sample Sale events

Qualifications:

• The ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Flexibility and availability to work weekends including holidays
• Team player / great team spirit
• The ability to interact with clients
• High School Diploma Required
• At least 2+ years of retail experience
• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to stand 10-13 hours in one shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
