Lead Security Officer

- Lead and support assigned security officers to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors; monitor performance, review reports for accuracy, and promote teamwork and accountability.
- Coordinate daily operations by prioritizing workflow, supporting decision-making and problem-solving, addressing escalated issues, and assisting with staffing and organizational planning.
- Investigate, document, and manage security incidents and hazards while performing core security officer duties as needed.
- Conduct foot and vehicle patrols, enforce traffic and parking regulations, and operate security vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Drivers License credentialed from the Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles (IL-DMV) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Security Guard credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation preferred.
- High School diploma equivalency and 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree and 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
