Job Description

Join our dynamic Order Processing department where you will play an integral role in picking, packaging, labeling, and loading UPS trucks with packages. Utilize state-of-the-art inventory systems that use AI to enhance efficiency and pick rates. You will be responsible for managing multiple orders simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders using a tablet-guided system that indicates specific items, quantities, and locations within the warehouse.
• Manage up to 12 orders simultaneously by filling totes on a cart.
• Utilize AI-powered inventory systems to improve efficiency and pick rates.
• Load totes onto a conveyor for processing in the Packaging department.
• Stand by a conveyor to pack items from totes into boxes, guided by an automated system.
• Assemble boxes, package items, use a tape machine, and label packages.
• Load finished packages into UPS trucks as needed.
• Achieve a KPI of 100 lines per hour, where one line may consist of a single item.

Essential Skills

• Ability to walk 3-5 miles per day.
• Capability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Experience in warehouse pick/pack operations.
• Proficiency in order picking and packing.
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution and production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or order picking experience is advantageous.
• Experience with RF scanners and inventory systems.
• General skills in shipping, receiving, and retail distribution.

Work Environment

We have 10 openings spread across three shifts: 1st shift (6am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm), and 3rd shift (10pm-6:30am). Be prepared to work 50-58 hours weekly, with optional Saturday shifts. Dress code includes long pants or shorts that touch the knee, and steel-toed footwear is required. Orientation and training sessions are provided, with role rotation every two hours within the packaging department.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.10/hr.
