AI Solutions Engineer (AVP)
We are seeking an AI Solutions Engineer (AVP) to design and deliver scalable, production-ready technology solutions that leverage modern cloud platforms and emerging AI capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of business needs and engineering execution, helping translate concepts and prototypes into secure, reliable systems that can be deployed at scale.
You will play a key role in shaping how AI-enabled applications are built, governed and maintained, while working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:Application Development & AI Enablement
- Design, build and enhance applications and workflows that support business operations
- Translate business requirements and early-stage concepts into scalable technical solutions
- Support the rollout and integration of AI-enabled capabilities into existing systems
Cloud Engineering & Deployment
- Develop and deploy solutions in a cloud-based environment using modern infrastructure practices
- Establish reliable deployment pipelines and ensure systems are scalable, secure and maintainable
- Manage environments across development, testing and production
Security & Risk Management
- Incorporate security considerations into application design and development processes
- Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with AI-enabled systems and data usage
- Support compliance with enterprise data protection and governance standards
Code Review & Production Readiness
- Review and refine application code, including AI-assisted outputs, to ensure quality and reliability
- Validate solutions for performance, maintainability and operational readiness prior to deployment
Standards & Best Practices
- Contribute to development standards, architecture patterns and reusable frameworks
- Help define processes and guardrails that enable scalable adoption of AI and modern software solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Strong background in software engineering and application development
- Experience building and deploying applications in a cloud environment
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and scripting tools
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation
- Understanding of software development best practices (testing, CI/CD, monitoring)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work across technical and business teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with AI or machine learning-enabled applications
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern development ecosystems
- Exposure to regulated or highly controlled environments
- Experience contributing to technical standards or shared frameworks

This is a fast-paced, project-driven environment where priorities evolve quickly. The role requires a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to operate independently while collaborating across a lean, high-performing team.
- Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite – Loop)
- Compensation : $175,000 annually
- Bonus: Eligible to earn a 20% annual performance-based bonus
