People Operations Specialist
- Support implementation of People strategies aligned with business goals
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; review and update policies as needed
- Process multi-state US payroll and related reporting
- Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS, managing new hires, terminations, promotions, and leaves
- Lead seamless onboarding, including I-9s, background checks, tax forms, orientation, and IT coordination
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
- Support annual Open Enrollment and M&A integration projects
- Prepare compliance and leadership reports (including EEO-1)
- Manage annual handbook distribution and harassment training
- Assist with FMLA and leave administration
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or HR administration
- Experience with payroll input, HRIS maintenance, reporting, and other data-heavy processes
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Positive, adaptable, and collaborative communicator
- Experience with Rippling, PinPoint, or similar HRIS systems preferred
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs)
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred but not required
- Salary: $65,000 – $75,000/year
