Job Title: Cleaning & Restoration Technician

M-F possible overtime in evenings and on call evenings and weekends if needed

Reports To: Operations Manager / Owner

Pay Range: (based on experience)

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Cleaning & Restoration Technician to provide professional cleaning and restoration services for both residential and commercial customers. This role includes carpet and upholstery cleaning, hard surface floor care, and assisting with restoration projects related to fire, water, or mold damage. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and willing to respond to emergency service calls when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform carpet, upholstery, and hard surface floor cleaning services
• Assist with fire, water, and mold damage restoration projects
• Set up and operate cleaning and restoration equipment
• Communicate with customers in a professional manner
• Maintain job documentation and project updates
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
• Respond to emergency restoration calls, including after-hours assignments

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Willingness to learn company software used for project management
• Availability for occasional evenings and weekends for emergency services
• Must be able to participate in after-hours on-call rotation (minimum one week per month)
• Must be willing to work extended hours during major weather or emergency events

Training & Certification

• After completing the probationary period, employees will attend Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) training and maintain certification

Preferred Experience

• General construction experience (demolition, framing, etc.)
• Flooring installation (carpet, laminate, ceramic tile)
• Drywall repair and painting
• Finish carpentry or cabinet installation

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles and equipment
• Comfortable working in various environments and conditions
