2nd Shift-quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming inspections and measure parts to ensure quality standards.

• Document any non-conformities found during inspections.

• Utilize inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gages.

• Create and perform First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) when necessary.

• Engage in drafting Production Part Approval Processes (PPAPs), Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and Control Plans.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Inspection or related fields.

• Proficient in using inspection tools including micrometers and calipers.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

• Experience in electronics or electro-mechanical manufacturing is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
