Finance Reporting Specialist, US Carrier Management

About the Role

This position is responsible for financial reporting and analysis of assigned legal entities in the U.S. In this role you will provide valuable insights to other finance and business functions through delivery of expert and timely information.

Key responsibilities include:

• Compile high-quality financial information on a US Statutory basis
• Execute legal entity performance analysis, while identifying process enhancements through automation and collaboration with global teams
• Ensure strong execution and adherence to the financial reporting control environment
• Actively engage with all relevant partners , internally and externally

Essential skills and experience :

• With 5+ years of experience in the life insurance industry or audit experience
• CPA certification or equivalent preferred

• Working knowledge of U.S. Statutory accounting and reporting standards for life insurance companies.

• Able to lead effectively across reporting lines to ensure deliverables are successfully executed
• Ability to balance competing priorities while anticipating and preempting operational challenges

The estimated base salary range for this position is $84,000 to $138,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
