About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-surg Adult, Orthopedic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience - Current BLS certification - Current ACLS certification - Current NIHSS certification Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care to patients in the Med-surg Adult and Orthopedic unit. This position requires working night shifts from 1900 to 0730. The role includes floating to other clinically appropriate units as needed, based on the nurse's scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies. Weekend shifts are required, with a commitment to work every other weekend. The nurse will be expected to collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care. Maintaining patient safety and supporting recovery through education and advocacy are key aspects of this role. This position also entails the possibility of floating to other Med-surg departments as required.
