Shipping Coordinator 1st Shift

Position Performs multiple job functions to ensure the flow of product moves from internal operations to the final customer destination. Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinates all finished goods product for shipment to customers
• Inspects outbound shipments for proper conditions
• Confirm shipments are accepted through ASN process
• Releases waves to the warehouse with proper priority
• Investigates shortages and expedites through other departments (OSP, final inspection, sorting, shipper order puller) if necessary
• Ensures picks are completed timely and moved to the appropriate staging area
• Coordinate transportation if necessary
• Prepares shipping documents
• Confirms shippers and monitor ASN Dashboard
• Reports any issues that affect product shipments to the appropriate department and escalates as needed

Education, Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to be certified on both stand up and sit down forklift
• Knowledge of warehouse operation (Product flow and capabilities)
• Solid computer knowledge, experience with Google documents and spreadsheets a plus
• Ability to prioritize and problem solve
• HSD/GED or equivalent experience
