Located in Elk Grove village, IL Salary: -$18-25/HR A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Punch Press Operator to join its team. This role involves operating punch press machines to perform blanking, piercing, forming, and drawing operations in accordance with production standards and quality specifications. Key Responsibilities:- Operate punch press equipment to perform blanking, piercing, forming, and drawing operations on a variety of parts
- Change material on smaller machines as needed
- Inspect parts using micrometers and other measuring tools to ensure they meet specifications
- Conduct in-process inspections, follow control plans, and accurately record results
- Promptly report any machine or production issues
- Document production data and prepare parts for the next manufacturing step
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints and follow written instructions
- Basic knowledge of machine controls
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency
