ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER – VERTICAL CONSTRUCTION
Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation's premier electrical and general contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for an Electrical Project Manager.
Electrical Project Manager Compensation & Benefits:
Total compensation for the Electrical Project Manager is $115,000 - $160,000.

Electrical Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
Project Operations & Execution
- Oversee and manage electrical construction projects from initiation through completion with focus on operations and execution
- Manage large-scale vertical construction projects valued at $5M+ including high-rise (6+ stories), multifamily, office, cold storage, battery plants, industrial, and data/mission-critical facilities
- Direct daily project activities ensuring alignment with project milestones, budgets, and quality standards
- Coordinate with operations teams, superintendents, and field personnel to ensure efficient project delivery
- Provide senior leadership and strategic direction for vertical construction projects
Financial & Contract Management
- Manage financial aspects of projects including budgets, forecasting, and cost control
- Handle small change orders as needed (estimating department manages primary estimating functions)
- Monitor project costs and profitability to meet company objectives
- Review and approve pay applications, vendor invoices, and subcontractor billing
- Prepare monthly project financial reports and forecasts
Team Coordination & Subcontractor Management
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners to ensure seamless project execution
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and labor for assigned projects
- Lead project meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensure proper communication flow between field operations and office support teams
Schedule & Quality Management
- Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules and timelines
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed to meet deadlines
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, specifications, and contract requirements
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify installation quality and project status
- Coordinate with superintendents on workforce planning and site logistics
Technology & Documentation
- Utilize project management systems including Procore, Sage, Bluebeam, and Accubid Enterprise
- Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
- Review and process submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals
- Ensure compliance with all contract documents, specifications, and building codes
Client Relations & Safety
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects
- Maintain positive client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
- Support and enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations on all projects
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Electrical Project Manager Qualifications:
- 7+ years of electrical project management experience in vertical construction
- Proven track record managing projects valued at $5M+ or greater
- Strong experience with vertical construction including high-rise (6+ stories), multifamily, office, cold storage, battery plants, industrial, and/or data/mission-critical projects
- Field background or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical, or related field
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Accubid Enterprise, Procore, and Sage construction management systems
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and installation practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of project budgets and cost control
- Experience working in both union and non-union environments preferred
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred but Not Necessary:
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Experience with double-breasted operations (union and non-union)
- PMP or similar project management certification
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with design-build or design-assist project delivery methods
