Manufacturing Line Operations Supervisor
Shape the future of snacking from the line up
Imagine starting your day on the bakery floor at 7300 S Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL 60629, where the hum of high-speed equipment meets the pride of crafting beloved brands. As our Manufacturing Line Operations Supervisor, you’ll guide a key production line to consistent, long-term results—safety, quality, delivery, cost, sustainability, and morale—while developing the next generation of technical experts.
What a day looks like
- Kick off shift huddles translating section goals into clear line and unit targets so every team member sees how their work fuels site outcomes.
- Walk the line to verify equipment is kept at basic conditions and AM/PM standards are executed on dedicated assets—hands-on with AM Step 4 and PM Step 3 systems.
- Lead loss elimination using Total Productive Maintenance and Six Sigma methods, with capability through AM Steps 5–6 and PM Step 3.
- Coach, recognize, and grow your team—recruiting, retaining, developing, and succession-planning while spotting high-potential talent.
- Own the numbers: build budgets, manage costs, uphold governance and compliance, and protect product quality and worker safety.
What you bring
- Proven leadership of line teams; calm, tactful approach to difficult interpersonal situations and experience influencing within a unionized setting.
- Hands-on mastery with Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Step 4 and Progressive/Planned Maintenance (PM) Step 3; capable of maintaining basic conditions independently and executing break-down and planned maintenance standards.
- Applied TPM and Six Sigma tools to drive sustained performance and eliminate losses.
- Sharp written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.

This role is 100% on-site at our Chicago Bakery (7300 S Kedzie Ave, Chicago IL 60629). The position is for first shift; additional shift options may be available.
